Shipping and Receiving Specialist

We are URGENTLY hiring for an experienced Shipping & Receiving Specialist to join the team with one of our treasured clients in the Scandia area. They are a local, family-owned plastics manufacturing company. They plan, design, and manufacture their own products, as well as for other companies and businesses.

Location: Scandia, MN

Pay: $20-24

Schedule: Mon-Fri 7am-330pm

As a Shipping & Receiving Specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

• Schedule truck Shipments for incoming and outgoing products.
• Create BOL, Packing slips, and secure packages for transit.
• Ordering packaging materials
• Material handling - bringing materials for specific jobs to the machines
• Receive in and inspect materials as they come in and enter data in the computer system
• Maintain plastic recycling program/ inventory
• Cut scrap using band saw

Desired candidates will have the following:

• Forklift Experience: Min. 1 year
• Logistics experience
• ERP software experience
• Inventory control
• Shipping & Receiving experience
• Ability to lift 50# consistently
• Reliability and dependability
