The following knowledge/skills/abilities are performed by the shipping & receiving specialist:
- Receives parts in from shipments (unpacks, verifies, records and stores parts in the warehouse)
- Keeps records on incoming and outgoing parts shipments
- Prepares parts for shipment & makes sure they are properly tagged
- Maintains core inventory items
- Ensures that all returned items & credits are due to customers
- Maintains warehouse organization & creates bin locations for new items
Qualifications:
- Demonstrates good communication skills
- Demonstrates professionalism inside and outside the workplace
- Maintains a safe, clean & organized work environment
- Must pass a drug test, parts specialist physical & background check
- Must be able to frequently lift 10-75 lbs.
- Must be occasionally lift 75-100 lbs. with assistance
- At least 1-2 years of warehouse experience (preferred)
