Location: Gaylord,MI, USA
Position Summary:
Responsible for the documentation and shipping of all finished goods and for receiving and warehousing all incoming and outgoing materials and supplies.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Responsible for the safety and well?being of all shipping and receiving Team Members
* Directly supervises shipping / receiving Team Members and utility Team Members
* Responsible for receipt of finished goods from production into inventory and the transfer of those finished goods to the customer
* Maintains warehouse all equipment charged within accordance of plant and OSHA standards
* Ensures new and transferred employees are trained in accordance with TS 16949 standards
* May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description
Education and Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a related field and or equivalent years of experience
* Minimum of three to five years of experience with shipping / receiving experience
* Exposure and knowledge of DOT rules and regulations, including hazmat and freight regulations
* Experience with packaging regulations both foreign and domestic.
* Ability to work and communicate directly with the customer about complaint issues and problem-solving resolution
* Willingness and ability to travel, as necessary
Work Environment/Work Conditions:
* Professional Office Environment
* Must wear proper personal protection equipment while on manufacturing floor
* Travel to manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required
* Equipment used requires proper training on the potential for and avoidance of injury
