JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor
JOB PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
This job requires the Warehouse supervisor to perform the following tasks:
* Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Warehouse Operations Department.
* Make decisions wisely in order to achieve the goals set for the company.
* Helps solve problems that affect our service.
* Responsible for maintaining an accurate finished goods inventory.
* Responsible for insuring that all ingredients and packaging are received correctly and put in proper locations daily.
* Has strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
* Delegate and monitor the cleaning and maintenance of all warehouses and Freezer along with their physical inventories
* Work well with team members to provide information for the coordination of supplies to the production line, ingredients room, and warehouses/freezer.
* Delegate, monitor, and oversee the clerks responsible for the ticket identification and all computer records necessary to maintain accurate inventories of ingredients in warehouses 1, 2, 3, 8 and coolers 4, 6 and 7, and Freezer 5, using Macola/Agility.
* Maintenance of employee requirements, training, schedules, and disciplinary actions,
as required.
* Use handheld scanner to make material and Finished Goods moves
Support the review, understanding and compliance of all programs, policies and procedures contained in the Food Safety and Quality Management System. Understand my role in food safety and regulatory responsibilities as required by the SQF Food Safety Code and report any food safety concerns to initiate appropriate action.

1. 35% Communicate daily to all employees, maintain a work environment that promotes Safety, Good Manufacturing Process, and efficiency in all warehouses. Maintain a good working knowledge of current operating system (Macola/Agility). Monitor the receiving and all transactions of raw materials required to produce finished goods each week utilizing the Dry Warehouse Lead.
2. 35% To keep up with lbs shipped by day and customer, scheduling truck appointments, compiling reports for staff meetings in the absence of the WOM. Monitor outgoing shipments insuring that all product loads are accurate and damage free, utilizing leads as sources for accomplishment.
3. 15% Administer disciplinary action as needed, conduct bi-weekly
Safety meeting, Control overtime and to record attendance
issues/vacations.
4. 10% Communicating with customers to keep them informed that their
orders are shipped complete and on time. Investigate customer
complaints that involve damage and short shipped product
5. 5% Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned by
supervisor.

Warehouse Manager, Sales Manager, Production Scheduler, Quality Control Manager, Operations Manager, Shipping Lead and Clerk

Customer Base, Trucking Companies and Contractors.
Education Level
Minimum of High School Diploma
Years and Type of Related Experience Required:
Previous work related skill, knowledge or experience may be required.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Interpersonal and Communication:
Requires strong oral and written communication skills. Have the ability to work independently, convey technical applications to others and exercise good judgment.
Technical and Analytical:
Requires basic math skills and the ability to perform required tasks. Requires computer knowledge in order to input data and verification accuracy using MS Excel and Macola would be preferred but not required.
Administrative and Operations:
Must be reliable and punctual and exercise good safety habits, must be able to manage time well and be able to multi-task.
Physical Demands:
Requires walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping and climbing up/down stairs. Also must have the ability to handle occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment
May be exposed to some cleaning and chemical fumes, extreme hot/cold, humid temperatures, high noise levels and wet floors. This is a Safety Sensitive Position.
