Job Type Full-time Description Reports to: Customer Support Team Manager Number of direct reports: 0 Travel: 0% Schedule: 100% On site Internal stakeholders: All staff External stakeholders: Dometic External Clients and Customers Summary: Dometic US Blind Systems are looking to recruit a driven and enthusiastic person to join our growing customer support team. The role will be responsible for the warehouse and successfully handling all incoming/outgoing shipments. Main responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing customer orders
  • Processing orders through UPS/FedEx/USPS using measuring instruments to extract correct data for processing shipment
  • Processing LTL paperwork as required by customer and business
  • Moving materials in the warehouse using hand trucks/carts as needed with or without help
  • Building shipping containers for oddly shaped or bulk shipments
  • Producing kitted products from individually shipped items
  • Preparing retail packaged product from bulk shipped items
  • Assembling or converting products to fill customer needs including rolling fabric as required
  • Reviewing incoming shipping documents in order to facilitate reception of products
  • Understanding customers shipping guides - shipping early or pre stage when product and customer allow using customer ship guidelines
  • Rotating stock as required
  • Weekly cycle counts
  • Providing shipping quotes to internal and external customers
  • Maintaining clean and orderly work area
  • Printing picking tickets and labels as needed
  • Other duties as required The post-holder may be asked to take on different tasks as required and all employees are expected to work collaboratively to support the overall goals of Dometic
  • Be responsible for your own health and safety and aware of other's health and safety in the workplace.
Requirements Qualifications and experience:
  • Previous experience in shipping and warehouse
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Excellent IT skills in standard office software packages
  • Very good standard of written and spoken English - required
