How does this role fit into the success of our organization? - A Shipping Technician is an essential part of the shipping and receiving department, providing support and assistance in various shipping-related tasks.
- Shipping Technicians are responsible for safely and efficiently locating and loading product on trucks per customer orders.
- Inspect every load for quality
- Scan tickets of units being loaded and verify contents of load against the tickets.
- Assist with answering the shipping phone and helping callers.
- Actively participate in any problem-solving meetings and positively contribute to improving the process on a daily basis.
- Ability to identify quality issues and react to them accordingly.
- Maintain forklift certification.
- Maintain cleanliness of the loading area (van dock and around pump), truck warehouse, car tracks, and truck parking.
What are we looking for? - Knowledgeable
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experienced
- Forklift experience required.
- Effective
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with office software for data entry and documentation.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring accurate and efficient shipping processes.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing shipping demands and priorities.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. as required.

- Physical Requirements
- Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
- Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
- Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
