Summary: The Material Handler is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and moving materials. Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30PM - 3AM and mandatory OT when applicable. TRAINING ON FIRST SHIFT Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM. You will be transitioned to second shift when ready. The following duties will be required but not limited to:
- Practice smart operating techniques to ensure the safety of the entire team
- Use Metalworks warehouse software to accurately log where product is located
- Pick orders with standing forklifts, turret truck and pallets jacks and load trucks according to schedule
- Hand sort and stack parts when necessary
- Wrap and package product coming out of production departments
- Unload inbound trucks and place in warehouse utilizing warehouse software
- Fill out trailer logs to ensure accurate load information
- Visually inspect parts that are picked for any rust or noticeable flaws
- Pulling non-conforming inventory and placing in quarantine location with proper labeling
- Accurate job progress data recording (both handwritten as well as through Metalworks ERP system)
- Deliver materials in between facilities.
A least two years of Forklift experience is required. Standing forklift experience preferred.
