With several locations across MS, AL, LA, FL, and TX, LMC performs service and repairs, both on-site and in the field, in addition to the sales, leases and rentals of heavy and compact equipment. Not only have we been the #1 Komatsu Market Share Dealer in North America for the past 7 years, but we have also been Dealer of the Year for many of our other OEMs with whom we've partnered. As we continue to grow, we are looking for self-motivated employees who work well with others and/or independently in a safe manner. Due to our tremendous growth, we are looking to add Technicians to our team. Duties:
- Diagnosis and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with machinery
- Read and understand machine schematics
- Fabricate and weld as necessary for task completion
- Follow federal and shop safety guidelines and protocol
- Ability to recondition and repair equipment and components
- Communicate with management and other departments to ensure quality work and customer satisfaction
- Complete necessary paperwork for warranty and shop compliance
- Other work-related duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Must possess your own tools
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on equipment repair experience
- Must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as necessary
- Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize to meet time restraints
- Attend company and product training for career advancements
Physical
- Ability to see in full range color
- Ability to knee, bend, twist, lift and squat to service equipment on the ground
- Must have excellent hand dexterity to include firm grasping
- Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs
- Must be able to work in any weather environment
- Occasional exposure to loud noises
