Fire Protection Services is seeking a Shop Technician to join our Team. You will have an impact on our field operations by taking care of our shop and making sure the team in the field has the tools and parts they need to get the job done. You will be responsible for assisting with inventory management, equipment maintenance, and providing support to our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical and organizational skills and a desire to learn. They will also greet each day with positivity and have the desire to provide exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
  • Assist in receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming inventory shipments.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Work with other team members to address technical issues and provide troubleshooting support.
  • Ensure a clean, organized, and safe work environment within the shop.
  • Assist in the field when needed.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Strong mechanical skills and the ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory practices.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks.
