The Welder will perform the duties described in the job description below and will be considered a non-exempt employee.The ideal candidate will have a high sense of awareness in the workplace, regard safety as a high priority, have basic knowledge of tools and equipment, be team-oriented, and be customer service driven. This candidate will also have a successful track record within the welding industry, preferably in an industrial setting.Minimum Qualifications / Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED and welder training by a recognized training facility
- Five (5) Years experience or more working as a certified welder in a mechanical and industrial environment
- Certified Welder
Job Description:
- Out-of-position welding of C.S, S.S (various alloys including 316, A-20, Hastaloy, Duplex) fitting and fabrication skills including working from drawings to fabricate piping and structural complex piping systems.
- Must be meticulous, detail-oriented, and conscientious. Ability to work individually or as part of a team
- Takes appropriate measures to ensure safety in the workplace;
- attends monthly safety meetings as required;
- Notifies manager immediately (within 24 hours) of workplace injuries and ensures appropriate policies and procedures are followed;
- Report potential safety hazards immediately to the manager.
