Job DetailsJob Location Convalescent Center - Nespelem, WA Salary Range $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly DescriptionCLOSING DATE: Open Continuously POSITION: Short Notice Housekeeper II SALARY: $20.00 per hour REPORTS TO: Lead Housekeeper LOCATION: Convalescent Center; Nespelem, Washington Basic Functions: This is a Non-Exempt position. The Housekeeper will perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current federal, state, local standards and guidelines, and regulations governing the facility, and as directed by the Administrator and/or the Lead Housekeeper to ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner. QualificationsEducation and Training:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Requires knowledge of housekeeping practices desired of the applicant.
- Requires knowledge of long term care setting.
- Requires ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc.
- Requires ability to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 30 pounds to a minimum height of 2 feet and be able to push, pull, move; and/or carry said weight a minimum of 20 feet.
- Requires the ability to make independent decisions.
- Janitorial experience preferred.

If required of this position, you must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license and be eligible for the Tribes' Vehicle Insurance.
