Duties: The duties of a substitute teacher include managing classroom behavior, quickly interpreting lesson plans and creating reports to inform the permanent teacher of the day. Qualifications: Must hold an Associate's degree or higher a regionally accredited institution of higher education or show completion of 60 semster hours of coursework. Other Information: Prior to being added to the substitute teacher list, a candidate must complete a mandatory short term substitute teacher and technology training proved by the district. A short term substitute is limited to not more than five consecutive days in any one classroom. Short term substitutes can not be utilized for long term teacher absences. Rate of Pay: $150/per day $180/per day 11-21 Consecutive Days (Same Assignment)
