Overview
As aShotcrete Nozzleman(Geohazard Mitigation Technician, GMT Level 3), there is no typical day and the scenery changes often. GMT3s are the backbone of our teams with hands-on experience running drills, shooting shotcrete, and mentoring new team members. You will be able to take pride in your work each day, with visible results, and know that you are building a safe infrastucture for your community and country. This is a jumping off point into career tracks in management (Superintendent), project management, and specialty drilling (Casing).

Responsibilities
+ Operate rock drills (Cammachio, KIemm, Casagrande, Fraste)
+ Operate construction equipment such as excavator, all terrain forklifts, man lifts, skid steers, and front end loaders
+ Reading and determining measurements
+ Maintain a clean and organized construction site
+ Work together in a team environment
+ Mix, spray, run hoses, and operate shotcrete or grouting pumps
Qualifications
Qualifications:
+ At least one year soil stabilization or geohazard mitigation experience required
+ Prior concrete or shotcrete experience
+ Drilling experience
+ Heavy equipment operation experience
+ Ability to travel extensively
+ Reliability and a strong work ethic
+ Enthusiastically work with a diverse team
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Class A CDL
+ Nozzleman certification (ACI Certification)
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
+ Climates vary in degrees, in tropical to desert environments.
+ The noise level in the work environment is moderate and hearing protection is often required.
+ Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
+ Regular heavy lifting (75lbs+) of construction materials on the job site.

Travel:100% travelling in the Eastern US (East of the Mississippi River). Employees are expected to work a 3 weeks on, 1 week off schedule.
Pay: $23/hr-$27/hr. With overtime, in 2023 employees in this job made the equivalent of nearly $34/hr.
