Confidently assist with various tasks at luxury retail showroom focused on waterproof wool + cashmere men's and women's in Midtown Manhattan. (In-person position, not remote.)
Responsibilities:
- Respectfully help sell to shopping customers and articulately communicate special brand features
- Provide general assistance to in-person, over phone and online customers
- Assist in carefully packing up shipments for e-commerce orders
- Make sure showroom product is displayed neatly and in aesthetically pleasing manner
- Help with product & supplies inventory checks
- Run showroom errands such as bringing units to local tailor for repair work
Qualifications:
- Must have some retail experience (1 year minimum)
- Must be comfortable using selling POS software to checkout customers
Skills:
- Should have very strong customer service / communication skills.
- Needs to be punctual, reliable and honest.
Applicants should have basic appreciation for fashion and luxury goods.
Applicants must dress fashionably and appropriately to reflect the high-end nature of Norwegian Wool.
Compensation: $22 / hr. Plus 4% market sales commission.
Schedule will include approximately 4 days/week and about 6-8 hours per day (including at least 1 day each weekend).
