We have created an approach to training that encompasses design, organization, product knowledge, and sales to make for an unparalleled opportunity.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Showroom SupportGreet and qualify all customers coming inManage Waitwhile app and Showroom CalendarUse Microsoft Teams to communicate with staffWork with manager and staff to monitor showroom maintenanceMonitor, organize, and maintain showroom samples, literature, and printed assetsAssist staff with vendors by checking on POs, delivery status, obtaining information, etc.Organize and maintain back office or dedicated office supplies storage areaCreate Spec Books for ConsultantsCreate Mood Boards, Customer Presentations, and Sample Boxes for consultantsAssist designers with plans and elevations using applicable design software (i.e., 2020, Chief Architect, SketchUp) including adding color/accessories/decorative items, details and notes, creating perspectives, etc.Assist customers with tasks such as:Taking payments/returnsChecking order statusSmaller transactional salesAssist with sample requests for projectsAssist store manager with daily agenda and keep associates on schedule as requestedOrder supplies for showroomPrepare the showroom for opening and closing:Turn on/off lighting, clean and maintain active displays, clear samples, and prepare work surfaces for the next business day, etc.GeneralAttend and complete all trainings offered - including online and in-personAttend field measures and site visits with designers as requestedAttend events as requested - in-house and off-siteAssist with execution of in-house eventsExcellent written and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and possess the ability to complete tasks on-time with little supervisionAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentRequired Education and ExperienceHigh School DiplomaDegree in Interior Design or related a plusStrong knowledge of various computer applicationsMicrosoft Office 365; Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, ExcelExperience with graphic or home design/architecture software a plusRetail or other sales experience a plus#J-18808-Ljbffr
