The Role Join our expanding Flatiron team as we prepare to unveil a new, larger, and enhanced showroom. As a Waterworks' Showroom Operation Specialist you will be a key team member supporting the sales and profitability of the showroom by partnering with the Regional Manager to streamline process management. You'll also work closely with the showroom's sales and service teams, as well as cross-functional partners, to deliver exceptional service and a top-notch brand experience to our clients.Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain efficient operational processes to uphold Waterworks brand image
  • Maintains showroom environment including implementing visual directives, facilities management, IT services, office supplies, safety, and cleanliness
  • Ensures physical showroom is on par for a luxury experience
  • Maintain a schedule of expected visitors or contractors and act as point person for all guests
  • Responsible for showroom product sample stock and reporting and updating and replenishment activities
  • Manages incoming and outgoing sample orders and requests including identifying client, sales consultants and/or quote that sample is associated with and ensuring correct item and successful delivery
  • Work with Regional Manager on weekly sales recaps/pipeline reporting
  • Spearhead the showroom implementation of cross-functional corporate initiatives (CRM, Online Chat, Appointment scheduling, LMS, other as defined)
  • Provides support to General Manager with showroom training initiatives. May perform training on systems or product for team as assigned.
  • Provide project management/client integration assistance support to cabinetry business as needed
  • Responsible for showroom inventory management and annual inventory process
  • Client service escalations/resolutions for the showroom
  • Provides back up sales support for senior sales consultants as needed
  • Overall responsibility for showroom event planning and execution while maintaining branding guidelines
  • Role model and promote the Waterworks values within the showrooms
  • Other accountabilities as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 3-5 years proven work experience in an operational or sales support role in a high end luxury brand environment
  • Proactive and able to work with cross-functional teams with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skill
  • Knowledge of and experience in working in an inside/outside sales environment
  • Self-motivated team leader with excellent coaching and communication skills
  • Ability to take charge, drive for results and make sound decisions quickly
  • Ability to inspire trust, integrity and professionalism
  • Exceptional time management skills with ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities
  • Innovative and strategic thinking
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
  • Interior Design experience/exposure preferred
