DescriptionAs an Automobile Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our dealership. You will engage with customers to understand their needs, provide product knowledge, and guide them through the purchasing process. - Sales Process: Guide customers through the entire sales process, from initial inquiry to final purchase.
- Demonstrations: Conduct test drives and showcase vehicle features to enhance customer interest.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing and financing terms to close sales effectively.
- Follow-Up: Build and maintain customer relationships through follow-up communications and service reminders.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing vehicle inventory, including stock levels and display.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets and objectives.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a passion for helping others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities•Communicate with customers through email and phone calls in order to schedule appointments for customers to visit the store by performing the following duties•Respond to customer requests from the Internet lead system and gather information from the customer about the make, type, and quality of vehicle desired; trade-in details; customer's goals•Employ strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport when assisting potential customers with their vehicle selections•Drive current and future auto sales by maintaining an accurate customer database•Present used and new cars through test drives, demonstrations, and dealership walk-throughs•Welcome customers to the showroom floor with professionalism and offer assistance to support auto sales•Leverage negotiation skills without compromising customer satisfaction to carry out the sales process following dealership standards and policiesQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily•Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions•High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience•Must be able to pass a background check and Drug test•Customer service: 1 year (Required)•Bachelor's degree is preferred; high school diploma or GED equivalent mandatory•Stellar communication skills, negotiation skills, time management, and interpersonal skills are all crucial for meeting customer needs•A valid state-issued driver's license and acceptable driving record are required•Sales experience in a showroom or auto dealership setting preferred
