Job DescriptionGeneral Purpose of Job: The Supply Chain Systems Analyst will work under the general direction of the Manager of Contracts & Procurement to assess, plan, develop and implement system updates, maintenance and process improvement. Essential Duties: This job description is intended to cover the minimum essential duties assigned on a regular basis. Associates may be asked to perform additional duties as assigned by their leader. Leadership has the right to alter or modify the duties of the position.
- Continuously evaluates, recommends, and implements changes to system processes and procedures, in order to improve productivity, efficiency and accuracy of work across Supply Chain and the Health System.
- Keeps informed of system capabilities and needs of users to proactively investigate needed changes for the Supply Chain of the Health System.
- Continually recommends efficiencies to department leadership through system utilization and operational processes.
- Serve as Supply Chain lead in any applicable IT upgrades. This would include, but is not limited to, working with IT to plan, design, test, implement and manage the ERP system. Maintain IT written policy manual, train associates and complete assigned tasks in accordance with mutually agreed project schedules.
- Serve as liaison with Finance, IT and Internal Audit in resolving programming issues and other related problems.
- Maintain product item master data and perform purchase data reconciliations.
- Design and produce educational materials and conduct training of Supply Chain Management staff on the ERP system.
- Respond to internal and external requests for statistical data and financial impacts.
- Coordinates with outside vendors and consultants to resolve various software, hardware and other system issues.
Job Requirements General Requirements •None Work Experience •Five (5) years of experience in supply chain operations, data analysis, or healthcare information systems. Education •Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Information Systems, Logistics Management, Operations Management or equivalent discipline. Specialized Knowledge and Skills •Demonstrated understanding of fundamental Supply Chain concepts. •Extensive personal computer, spreadsheet, and database management experience. •Proficient in computer software such as Infor Lawson, EPIC, and other related technologies. •Demonstrated interpersonal skills necessary to interact with all levels of Caregivers and management. •Basic understanding of Finance, Accounting and Information Systems processes. •Analytical skills necessary to diagnose and resolve software programs. •Demonstrated ability in facilitating cross-functional teams. •Understanding of service needs of a diverse Caregiver population. •Effective collaborative skills and proven process improvement skills to drive efficiencies. •Strong written and verbal communication skills, experience in business communication protocols and problem solving skills. •Analytical abilities to comprehend, interpret and disseminate financial information. •Strong computer skills with knowledge of material management information systems, Excel, Word, Access and PowerPoint. •Commitment to providing outstanding customer service. •Demonstrated ability to prioritize, and an effective use of time management skills. •Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work through complex processes. •Demonstrated understanding of lean methods for identifying process improvements. •Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to manipulate data.
