General Summary: The Shuttle Truck Driver role performs a vital role connecting our Transportation and Night Warehouse teams with Domicile Drivers within our operations area. Individuals in this role will be responsible for driving loaded/unloaded box trucks between our Distribution Center(s) to remote locations where domicile operations occur. This requires the safe operation of a 22' or larger box truck during overnight hours of operation. This role starts in the evening hours and concludes in the early morning. This role also includes the ability to run delivery routes from time to time to accommodate the business.What You'll Do:
  • Own and facilitate an amazing customer experience for your team members!
  • Operate all equipment in a safe manner; obey all traffic laws and customer requirements.
  • Transport empty trucks, and/or trucks with returned product back to designated distribution center from domicile location and assist with unloading of product.
  • Pick up paperwork for pre-loaded truck, inspect and ensure paperwork is correct for load and any needed keys/codes are provided, and verify load is secure.
  • Transport loaded truck back to domicile location, verify all paperwork and needed and truck is ready for domicile driver to pick up and run assigned delivery route for the day.
  • Shift typically starts late evening into the night and concludes early morning. Multiple truck shuttles/trips typically occur each night.

What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • A sincere passion for positively impacting people and making work, fun (this is first on the list for a reason!)
  • Insightful, meaningful, relevant customer service skills and experience.
  • A minimum of 12 months experience operating a box truck, and preferred prior Delivery Driver experience.
  • Utilize proper PPE when making deliveries (gloves/masks/vests/etc); utilize proper lifting techniques loading/unloading/delivering product.
  • Maintain accuracy of product ordered to product delivered.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis, and do so safely.
  • Ability to utilize a motorized/non-motorized pallet jack.
  • A clean background and MVR record.
  • Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Perform duties shuttling trucks during the overnight hours between domicile facilities and distribution facilities via 22' or larger box trucks.
  • Provide safe operation of equipment to include vehicle as well as loading/unloading equipment.
  • Provide on-time pickup and delivery of trucks from domicile locations and distribution facilities.
  • Assist in solving operational concerns and build inter-team relationships.
  • Occasionally running a designated delivery route to assist as needed.
