The Role:

The EU Solution Development department is responsible for the design and layout of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) and their systems. The project team supports customers in tailor-made systems as well as the sales department in technical and cost related questions. The department is working closely with locations in Central Europe, so an international exchange is given. The working environment is open, honest and agile and introduces very good opportunities for outgoing characters as well as colleagues that prefer to work in the background. Depending on individual skills, the employees may evolve and develop their career in other specifications as well. The EU Solution Development department is the heart of AGV systems and the physical evidence that turns an idea into automated greatness.

To further strengthen the department, we are looking for you as Simulation specialist (m / f / x) at location in Zwijndrecht (Antwerp) as soon as possible

Responsibilities:

• You convert Autocad drawings, collect missing information, program dynamic behavior, analyze simulation result and report conclusions
• You interact with the Sales team and you are involved in the design of the installations
• You interact with the Project team, during the project realization
• You estimate the effect of planned design changes and are involved in the design of rules and algorithms for the Warehouse Management Software.
• You visit the sites to do observations and measurements (after the realization of simulated projects)
• You are involved in the handover tests
• You provide internal and external consulting on planned extensions or adaptations to existing installations

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience with Simulation, CAD, Material Handling and/or programming is a plus
• You maintain a high level of accuracyYou are interested in the application of high-tech solutions in industrial environment
