Job Title: Sit Down Forklift OperatorLocation: Sheffield Village, OH (Elyria Branch)Division: Nesco Resource Light Industrial Job Description and SummaryForklift Operators are responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, labeling, stacking, staging, and transporting products into and out of the distribution center/warehouse. Individuals in this position must work cooperatively with other associates and work productively with little supervision. Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities Safely loading, unloading, sorting, staging, labeling, and transporting products into and out of the warehouse using propane or electric powered industrial forklift trucks equipped with lifting devices.Verifying paperwork, product, product count size and count of pallets, carrier, correct labels, packing list location.Correcting issues when found.Arranging cartons on pallets and loading trucks keeping in mind size, weight, height, and other characteristics.Performing inventory control and return product functions as needed.Following company safety policies and procedures and encouraging other Associates to do the same.Providing and inspiring outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.Additional duties as assigned by Warehouse Management. Required Skills At least 1 year of stand-up forklift experience preferred.
