Job Description: Responsibilities:
  • Site Planning: Supports in the planning and follow up of the construction/civil works activities related to the assigned scope and disciplines, including necessary local resources, equipment, suppliers, and milestones.
  • Participates in the coordination between customer and external resources on construction targets, health and safety requirements, site organization and policy.
  • Site coordination and monitoring: Responsible for coordinating all on-site construction/civil works activities related to the assigned scope and disciplines, to ensure their successful execution of start-up, construction, erection, testing and commissioning activities in alignment with contract specifications and requirements, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements.
  • Meetings: Participates in site meetings related to the assigned scope and disciplines, and whenever required, with Customer, sub-contractors.
  • Stakeholder relations: Serves as a project representative, within the assigned scope and disciplines, by building and maintaining effective relationships with customers as well as other local organizations.
  • Sub-Contractors: Supports the Civil Construction Manager in making detailed working plans with the Sub-Contractors of the assigned scope and disciplines.
  • Ensures the required quality for the respective works according to the standards and specifications.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensures that the Site Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Plan is followed and provides input for its update when required.
  • Is continuously working with hazardous, risk assessment and control.
Quality:
  • Ensures that the Site Quality Plan is followed and documented.
  • Together with the Sub-Contractor, monitors and inspects the construction/civil works activities related to the assigned scope and disciplines, ensuring that it's up to the specified requirements, according to the Q100 process.
  • Material handling: Ensures correct handling, storage and installation of HPG's delivered equipment related to the assigned scope and disciplines (Of buildings' services, if any), according to the manufacturer's guidelines, including coordination of on-site storage.
  • Documentation: Ensures all documentation related to the assigned scope and disciplines is revised and updated as necessary, the document handling system is continuously maintained, and latest revisions are used for the construction work on site.
