Your expertise in TIA standards, combined with your abilityto conduct site safety audits and tower inspections, will be essential for maintaining compliance within the telecommunications industry.ResponsibilitiesRegulatory Compliance
- Analyze internal business systems to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards.
- Investigate and review certifications related to site safety and compliance.
- Interpret and implement TIA standards, focusing on safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site safety audits to identify and address potential hazards.
- Oversee general contractor safety practices and adherence to safety guidelines.Tower Inspections
- Conduct thorough tower inspections to ensure structural integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Review structural documents (such as blueprints and schematics) to assess safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to address any issues identified during inspections.Site Safety Audits
- Regularly inspect construction sites to identify safety hazards.
- Implement corrective measures promptly to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards, reporting any violations or concerns.General Contractor Oversight
- Coordinate with general contractors to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide guidance on safety protocols and best practices.
- Facilitate communication between project managers, site staff, and contractors.Qualifications
- TIA Standards Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) standards, including TIA-942 for data centers, TIA-568 for structured cabling, and other relevant guidelines.
- Safety Audit Experience: Proven track record in conducting site safety audits and implementing corrective actions.
- Tower Inspection Skills: Ability to assess tower structures for safety and compliance.
- Construction Management Experience (Nice-to-Have): Familiarity with construction management practices.
- Vehicle Ownership: Must have a reliable vehicle for occasional field visits (15% of the role).
