Job Description- Lead the Design and Installation of electrical equipment such as transformers, switch gear, MCCs, motors, and controls to ensure the smooth operation of the plant.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for power distribution lockout, ensuring the safety and reliability of all electrical systems.
- Oversee and maintain the electrical infrastructure, providing input to the maintenance team to keep equipment operating efficiently.
- Partner with maintenance and operations teams to define specifications for new equipment and plant upgrades to enhance productivity.
- Play a pivotal role in the design and installation of mechanical equipment, including conveyors, pumps, and processing systems.
- Provide expert input during the tendering and analysis of engineering and construction contracts.
- Monitor project activities, keeping an eye on cost and schedule, while providing timely updates to management.
- Coordinate and supervise the installation of new equipment to ensure smooth, timely integration.
- Provide on-site support during construction and commissioning activities, ensuring all systems are up and running as planned.
- Take ownership of electrical savings initiatives, driving ideas through to successful completion.
- Serve as the primary contact for the local electrical power company, managing relationships and ensuring optimal power usage.

The Successful Applicant- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an Associate's Degree in Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering or a similar field.
- Proven expertise in building automation, energy control systems, and commissioning.
- Ability to calculate and analyze energy saving opportunities.
- Strong analytical and communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project for project management and reporting.
- Experience with PLC and Instrumentation systems systems is a plus!
