Our client, a records storage company, is looking for a hands-on Site General Manager to lead their facilities. One is located in Houston, TX and another in Jackson, MS. This fast-growing company helps their clients manage their physical and electronic records throughout the United States.The GM will be a member of the Management team responsible for providing direction, leadership, and support to the team at each facility. Essential responsibilities:- Perform leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures and applicable laws- Manage the daily activity of the local staff related to the warehouse, drivers, and customer service to include scheduling, capacity planning, inbound and outbound- Lead the delivery of all targeted business plan metrics across productivity, quality, cost, safety, and people- Management of the truck fleet and warehouse assets to include maintenance and repair of trucks and material handling equipment- Take part in establishing customer relationships, securing projects with existing customers, and effectively communicating with the local customer base- Work effectively with support staff (Finance, HR, Compliance, and IT) to build and secure support and resources for projects and initiativesMedical, dental, vision, 401k.
