Site Manager - NortheastCompetitive Salary + Car Allowance + Pension + PackageWe are partnered with a leading Main Contractor and Specialist Subcontractors seeking a talented and experienced Site Manager. With a strong background in Carpentry/Shopfitting, a Site Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of Fit-out and New Build works including coordinating with contractors, ensuring safety compliance, managing the project timeline, and maintaining high-quality standards throughout the project.Key Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the site-based Project Manager, you will oversee all on-site activities of new build and fit-out projects from initiation to completion ensuring quality & deadlines are met.Monitor day-to-day activities on site and track project progress, making adjustments as needed ensuring tasks are completed to specification and standards.Ensure all subcontractors and workers adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations promoting a culture of safety on-site.Work closely with designers, architects, and engineers to resolve any issues related to the design or specifications.Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure quality in workmanship & the project is being executed according to plans and specifications.Address any defects or issues during the fit-out and ensure they are resolved in a timely manner.Serve as the on-site point of contact for clients, providing updates on progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.Requirements: 7+ years' experience in a similar role with focus on the New Build, Fit Out, and with strong carpentry background.SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS are desirable.Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.Please apply with your updated CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.
