As a critical member of our executive team, you will have the chance to craft the future of our operations and community relations, ensuring flawless execution and outstanding performance.The Site Manager is responsible for leading the Cohasset site, including all operating results, process development/improvement of new and existing products and community relations. Responsible for spending and budgets.Primary Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for all aspects of the Cohasset site, ensuring alignment with the Company's Vision, Values, and Mission.
- Ensure continuous improvement in all areas of manufacturing in compliance with appropriate regulations while controlling spending and capital budgets.
- Maintain and protect Lonza's resources and assets on site, in the community and marketplace.
- Responsible for proactive community relations and Lonza's local reputation and image.
- Responsible for the site's annual budget (spending/capital).
- Assure appropriate staffing to meet business goals.
- Responsible for all Safety, Health, Environmental and Security aspects at the site.
Quality Responsibility:Ensure the maintenance of GMP certifications for the business by efficiently implementing processes, procedures, and instructions for all activities in which the team participates.Safety Responsibility:Be knowledgeable and align with all relevant safety policies, rules, and regulations. Ensure that all team members align with safety rules and regulations.Leadership Responsibility:Provide appropriate mentoring and performance feedback to all direct reports and assure that all team members are being developed to compete in an extraordinary environment.Education and Skill Requirements:BS Engineering or equivalent experience with 10-12 years of manufacturing experience, or MS Engineering or equivalent experience with 8-10 years of manufacturing experience, including at least 5 years of people leadership responsibility.Job EnvironmentOffice/Plant environment.
