Job Description:

Our digital client is seeking an experienced Digital Merchandiser to join their team in non-apparel. This role will use strategic thinking and innovation to create a seamless and fresh site experience for their customers.

  • The salary range for this role is 95-105k plus bonus.

Responsibilities:

  • Use data and insights to make informed and impactful decisions to translate complex data into actions and improvements.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency and improvement.
  • Develop the short-term and long-term site merchandising strategy for seasonal campaigns & events to achieve key business and financial objectives, translating the assortment strategy into site strategy and experiences.
  • Provide insights to Merchant partners on historical campaign performance and customer behavior to influence future campaign strategy
  • Lead the brand content strategy to drive the holistic content strategy using trends and customer insights to tell a cohesive story and create a seamless customer experience.
  • Oversee the brand launch calendar and governance, site functionality including navigation, hierarchy, search and browse, and new product on-boarding.
  • Demonstrate the ability to tell a story through a site identify key brand stories and define the brands story-telling roadmap, shaping where and how to invest. Use key functionalities like taxonomy and search to enhance brand discovery on their site, telling a cohesive story to elevate brand perception and build brand loyalty.
  • Develop seasonal campaign strategy manage the short-term and long-term site merchandising strategy for seasonal campaigns & events to achieve key business and financial objectives translating the assortment strategy into site strategy and experiences.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing and editorial drive campaign strategy, planning, and execution providing insights to Merchant partners on historical campaign performance and customer behavior to influence future campaign strategy. Execute campaign activities within agreed timeframes at the agreed levels of quality and provide feedback and insights on campaign effectiveness.
  • Leverage data to optimize the content strategy, reporting and analytical insights to set goals, measure success, and continually refine strategic brand's content mix and strategy.
  • Monitor site health and performance through analytics and key metrics. Oversee the development of site metrics and dashboards to monitor site health, providing strategic insights to internal stakeholders to influence the overall direction for the site.
  • Become an invaluable strategic partner to internal stakeholders. Advise and partner with various internal teams to improve processes, identify opportunities, and scale best practice and governance, driving continual assessment and improvement of the sites strategic direction and execution.
  • Work within efficient workflows, processes, and timelines, embedding operational excellence.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in merchandising, visual design, business management, or related area
  • 3 years of experience in ecommerce merchandising, UI/UX, interactive, and visual design, business management, or related area
  • 4+ years related experience in Merchandising, Site Merchandising, or related field
  • Strong customer obsession focused on building the right site experience for the customer
  • Analytical and process-oriented, comfortable making data-driven decisions
  • Ability to set clear team objectives and performance measures
  • Ability to select and develop a team of future leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a cross-functional team and willingness to take on responsibilities outside primary job description when necessary
  • Assertive, adaptable and demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
