Role reports to: SUPPLY PLANNING DIRECTOR SELF CARE Location: Lititz, PA Travel %: 5% Pay: $152,000 - $205,000 What you will do The Sr. Manager Site Planning Leader will participate in formulating and administering company policies and developing the organization's strategies, goals and objectives. Directs and manages activities of the site as it pertains to production planning impacting the manufacturing facility. Champion the Reliability journey for the Site and lead all aspects of Reliability implementation at the site level. Connect with Demand Planning and Supply Planning to ensure seamless flow of information and fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics - Customer Service, Inventory, and Cost. Key Responsibilities
- Champion the Reliability journey for the Site. Lead all aspects of Reliability implementation at the site level.
- Connect with Demand Planning and Supply Planning to ensure seamless flow of information and fully integrated approach to delivering key metrics - Customer Service, Inventory, and Cost.
- Manages the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing. Develops and implements production planning policies, standards, guidelines, technology and procedures.
- Site responsibility for making recommendations for plant staffing/crewing levels
- Responsible for inventory targets and strategies to achieve targets
- Maintains compliance with company policies in regards to all safety procedures.
- Develops strategy and execution of plant production schedules
- Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, material, personnel and tools
- Responsible for Supplier relationship activities and performance via procurement teams
- Provide ISOP leadership (integrated Sales & Operations Planning) between the Site and Home Office
- Responsible for integrating NPI activities into plant planning
- Leads annual planning process and acts as finance link to internal finance teams
- Internal lead for developing, aligning and implementing cross-functional strategy and tactical execution
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Provides a closed loop connection between constraint plan, manufacturing capacity/build plans, and the total revenue plan
- Submits production planning report to management and develops solutions to address the potential production problems. Analyzes results and initiates appropriate action to meet business goals
- Improves profitability through process improvements and utilization of resources.
- Ensure participation in new product launch meetings and new product forecasts as a business partner
- Manages warehouse manufacturing services team including dock receiving, material put away, return goods areas, control printed label areas and material staging to the production areas.
- Responsible for site finished goods deployment to network DCs
What we are looking for Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree required. A focused degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Logistics is preferred.
- A minimum of 8 years of work experience in production planning or Supply Chain required.
- Experience in Manufacturing, including manufacturing, forecasting, distribution, supply chain, logistics, and procurement a plus.
- Manager of people for at least 3 years required
- Experience managing capacity planning requirements for the plant including business supply needs, new production pipeline volume builds and other plant project work required.
- Exposure of the manufacturing environment, OTC and/or consumer packaging or related field
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of FDA regulations preferred
