The Newell Group has been engaged to locate a Category Manager- Raw Materials for a great client in the Western North Canton, Ohio Area.
We are looking for local candidates for this position. No relocation assistance for this role. This is an onsite role with travel.
My client is a 60 year old company experiencing substantial growth looking to expand their procurement organization has an immediate need for a Procurement Category Manager- Raw Materials to lead procurement strategies within the category (3-10 yrs.
experience in category procurement).
This role will manage the category management for raw materials for all 9 sites and help on strategic initiatives for the organization.
We are looking for experience in Steel, Rebar, Concrete, Rock, Sand, Fly Ash, or raw materials in a multi-site manufacturing company for this important position.
If you have the category purchasing experience (Manager, Sr. Buyer), suppler development, negotiation skills, and a desire to make an impact, then reach out me for more details. Steel and Concrete Industry experience is highly preferred.
