We are representing a globally recognized aerospace manufacturing based organization who is actively seeking a Site Quality Director to lead their flagship $800M campus. The Site Quality Director will report directly to the General Manager who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP!
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Candidate will report to the General Manager while leading a department of (7) Engineers.
- Complete financial/budgetary ownership of department
- Candidate will assume ownership over both the plant quality function while working cross functionally with different departments
- Candidate will work to train and develop (2) Quality Leaders.
- Provide direction and leadership consistent with company and business plan goals.
- Maintain and develop strategic relationships with key suppliers and vendors
- Direct and drive the utilization of problem solving methods for related plant and customer issues.
- Work closely with plant staff to development HI-POT talent
- Responsible for improving process efficiency through best practices, SOP's, and lean manufacturing.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors Degree is required for consideration (preference for technical field)
- Candidate should have strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100
- Candidate should have at least 5 years of Quality Management experience within highly regulated environment
- Experience with Metals environment preferred
