McKinsey and Company Inc. US is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II in Dallas, TX. Design architectural diagrams for the McKinseys cloud-native application suite (Spendscape). Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure environments in development, staging, and production phases for complete Spendscape application suite. Configure, deploy, and manage high-availability cloud environments using Terraform (AWS and Azure) and onprem servers (VMware). Collaborate with application developers and data engineers to deploy applications ready for production with runbooks and processes. Adhere to best practices for building docker containers and working with container orchestration tools such as Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS)/Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS), and Docker Compose. Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Circle CI and Argo CD to automate the software deployment process and write configuration management scripts in Ansible for setting up Spendscape Windows applications. Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, PowerShell, and AWS Lambda functions. Provide support for Spendscape applications and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with diverse databases, front-end technologies, and proficiently utilizing alerting, logging, and monitoring tools such as PagerDuty, Splunk, Grafana, and Paessler. Employ a combination of Agile methodologies and expertise in public cloud, networking, and software engineering to create and sustain tailored solutions and adhere to SRE principles to enhance productivity, ensure timely decision-making, and take responsibility for increasing efficiencies through automation, product reliability, and scalability. Qualified applicants for this positions must have a minimum one (1) year of experience in all of the following: using at least one of the following programming languages: Java or JavaScript or scripting experience in Shell or Python; with at least one of the following public cloud platforms: AWS or Azure; configuring, deploying, and managing cloud environments using Terraform; Containerization tools: Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm; CI/CD tooling: Circle CI and Jenkins and configuration management using Ansible; alerting, logging, and monitoring tools: PagerDuty, Splunk, and Grafana; networking experience including load balancing, network security, standard network protocols (HTTP/s, DNS); and Operating systems: Linux and Windows.
