How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for Site Reliability Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia.Key Responsibilities:* Building and supporting a reliable application suite for the environment to meet the development and maintenance requirements of systems and platforms.* Work with other development teams to evaluate the health, stability, and reliability of applications.* Utilize monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and other Delta management tools to ensure the availability, reliability, and performance of applications and services.* Responsible for consistently working to improve and implement automation of applications tasks.* Provide technical support for systems and platforms according to application Service Level Agreements. In the alternative, will accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, and 2 years of experience in IT field or related.Must have work experience in:* Designing and developing software and mobile applications using Java, SQL, HTML, CSS, and MVC framework;* Using J2EE technologies to develop web applications and rendering technical expertise in software development life cycle;* Following Continuous Integration & Development and DevOps practices;* Using enterprise logging infrastructure as part of data analytics and security;* Implementing large-scale enterprise data lakes; and* Using security information and event management to collect security data across organization.What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)Airline experience preferred
