Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols and programs to comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments on construction sites.
- Lead safety training sessions for staff, subcontractors, and project teams.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain safety documentation, including reports, permits, and incident logs.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify and mitigate safety risks.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and all applicable safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of safety management experience in the construction industry.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP), OSHA 30-hour certification, or equivalent safety credentials.
- In-depth knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and equipment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and educate teams on safety practices.
