We strive to provide a friendly work environment that encourages productivity and a sense of pride while promoting teamwork on every level.We are looking for a Site Safety Inspector to join our team.RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform boots on the ground safety oversight by identifying and correcting job site hazards and unsafe conditions.Assist in the implementation and compliance if site-specific and company safety policies.Assist in the creation of job hazard analysis and personal protective equipment (PPE) assessments.Review standard operating procedures and work practices to identify any safety concerns and support Safety Lead in team safety meetings.Perform job site specific safety audits using inspection forms to ensure employees are utilizing safe work practices such as wearing proper PPE, minimizing trip hazards, wearing fall protection etc.Respond to Environmental, Health and Safety events in the field and collect preliminary details, documents, photos to help Safety Lead with safeguard analysis and corrective action determination.Perform environmental compliance audits as needed.Ensure notification and corrective actions are put in place when any unsafe condition is presented or found throughout the job site. Submit and track EHS action items.Assist the Regional Safety Lead and Superintendent in accident and near miss investigations and root cause analysis when necessary.Organize, file, and maintain safety documentation (i.e., training records, meeting minutes)REQUIREMENTS:High School diploma or GED required.Previous experience in a construction/industrial environment.OSHA 30 Construction certification required.CPR and First Aid certifications required.Able to rapidly respond to employee health emergencies and activate emergency procedures.Ability to multi-task, to manage shifting priorities and to follow through on projects with minimal direction.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.Basic Computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.)Excellent analytical skills: Ability to collect and analyze data and present findings.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
