Job Summary
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience in Desktop Support for a hybrid remote work model. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support troubleshooting issues and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop systems. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. The position does not require travel and operates during day shifts.
Responsibilities
Provide technical support for desktop systems ensuring timely resolution of issues.Troubleshoot hardware and software problems identifying and implementing solutions.Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems and related software.Ensure system security and data integrity by implementing best practices and security protocols.Collaborate with team members to develop and implement IT policies and procedures.Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements.Assist in the development and maintenance of technical documentation.Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their technical skills.Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure optimal system performance.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for hardware and software procurement.Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and address any challenges.Contribute to the overall success of the IT department by providing reliable and efficient desktop support.Qualifications
