JOB SUMMARY:
As a Site Superintendent, no two days are the same! A typical day will include the following responsibilities:
+ Providing training and direction, with patience and grace, to volunteers, AmeriCorps, and partner families on building techniques and daily tasks.
+ Maintaining site safety through safe practices, documentation and ensure that all volunteers, partner families, and staff comply with worksite safety measures.
+ Performing Final Walkthrough with Homeowner and complete Final Walkthrough punch list within two weeks of walkthrough.
+ Hands on learning in Residential Construction
+ Predictable work hours.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ A valid Texas Driver's License and current automotive liability insurance
+ At least 2 years of direct construction experience is preferred
+ Must be able to work with volunteers, skilled and non-skilled workers with a positive and compassionate attitude.
+ General understanding of building trades, such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and how each impacts the other.
+ Comfortable with public speaking to groups of about 30 people.
+ Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
+ Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks appropriately.

COMPENSATION
+ $46,500 commensurate with education and experience
