Role- Site Superintendent- IndustrialLocation- Lafayette, INSalary- $90-130kPosition OverviewThe Site Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a site and ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and controls engineering, as well as experience in project management and I/O checkout processes.Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of contractors and engineers as well as project timeline.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure projects are completed according to specifications and timelines.
- Supervise and mentor site staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Oversee I/O checkout processes and ensure all systems are functioning properly.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Communicate project updates and progress to upper management and other stakeholders.
- Manage project budgets and monitor expenses to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during construction and develop solutions to keep projects on track.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in management, construction industry is a plus
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with I/O checkout processes and automation systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
