As a Site Superintendent at Brubacher... Your leadership makes a difference. You'll receive the support needed to perform your tasks successfully, while working in a safety-focused team environment. Your expertise in site excavation and managing earth crews will be valued, and you will have the opportunity to train, coach, and supervise employees on jobsites to foster safe, high-quality work, great customer relations, and jobs WELL DONE for our clients. Responsibilities
- Oversee all jobsite crew members and activities, including equipment, materials, and subcontractors, in accordance with company policies, contract obligations, prints, specs, and regulations to foster safe, high-quality, efficient work.
- Champion safety as a value with your team members and in all aspects of your jobsite.
- Invest in your team as you supervise, train, coach, mentor, and manage.
- Attend meetings, maintain documentation, and prepare required reports in a timely manner.
- Live out Brubacher's core values - Safety, Integrity, Initiative, Teamwork - as you build collaborative relationships with team members, clients, inspectors, and community members.
Training & Experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and coach team members.
- Experience working with construction plans, equipment, soils, work force, and materials.
- Ability to manage schedules, plan, and interpret blueprints and contracts.
- Construction experience with understanding of responsibilities on a variety of jobsites.
