Position Description
Bluebird Kids Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced site supervisor with a patient and family-first mindset to oversee the day-to-day operations of Boynton Beach Site located in Boynton Beach, FL. As the Site Supervisor, you will manage a range of operational and clinical responsibilities to maintain seamless clinic operations. This includes overseeing administrative and clinical staff, coordinating patient care, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, supporting site-specific growth initiatives, and upholding the highest standards of patient satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership abilities, an in-depth understanding of healthcare administration, and a deep commitment to delivering exceptional care.
What You'll Do
Administrative & Business Management
- Growth & Outreach: Lead site-specific growth initiatives and outreach efforts to drive patient engagement.
- Budget Management: Contribute to site-based budgeting process, monitor expenditures and identify cost saving opportunities.
- Revenue Cycle Management: Manage on-site patient registration, insurance verification, co-pay and outstanding balance collection, and clinical documentation submission to maintain an efficient revenue cycle.
- KPI Reporting: Measure, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), using data-driven insights to optimize performance and support continuous improvement.
- Central Operations Coordination: Collaborate closely with central operations teams (e.g., call center, triage) to support patient needs, resolve issues, and ensure seamless coordination across departments.
- Community Partnerships: Support Bluebird Kids Health efforts to build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and local groups.
Operations Management
- Site Leadership: Provide on-site leadership to foster a positive, supportive work environment where team members feel empowered to deliver exceptional care.
- Team Culture: Develop initiatives to boost team morale, collaboration, and an inclusive culture aligned with Bluebird Kids Health values.
- Staff Management: Directly manage the on-site team of reception staff, medical assistants, and nurses, including assessing and ensuring competency of direct reports.
- Human Resources: Manage the full employee experience at the site—from interviewing and onboarding to training, development, and retention of staff.
- Staff Scheduling & Management: Coordinate staff schedules to optimize coverage.
- Facilities Management: Oversee the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of the clinic in coordination with facilities vendors.
- Supply Chain & Inventory: Manage supply ordering and inventory management, ensuring essential supplies are always available.
- Vendor Relations: Collaborate with external vendors, ensuring adherence to all policies and procedures and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Technology Management: Serve as the primary liaison to the IT, Security, and Technology teams for all site-based hardware and software needs.
- Emergency Preparedness: Maintain and implement emergency operations plans, ensuring staff are trained and ready to respond effectively to any crisis.
Clinical Operations
- Staff Training & Development: Support continuous learning and clinical excellence through ongoing training and development.
- Quality, Safety, and Compliance: Lead the implementation of quality, safety, and compliance programs, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and Bluebird Kids Health standards.
- Infection Control: Ensure adherence to infection control protocols for a safe environment.
- Patient Flow Management: Streamline patient flow to minimize wait times and enhance patient/family experience.
- Clinical Protocol Oversight: Partner with clinical leadership to ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Quality Improvement: Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical processes and patient outcomes.
- Patient Experience & Satisfaction: Create a child- and family-centered environment, driving exceptional patient experience and promptly addressing any concerns.
- Vaccine Program Management: Oversee vaccine program administration, ensuring proper storage, inventory, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Requirements
What You'll Need
- Work Location: Ability to work onsite 5 days per week, 8a-4:30p
- Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business management, or related field (preferred), or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Proven experience as a practice manager or in a similar healthcare management role. Pediatric experience a plus.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- A patient-first mindset with strong customer service skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications and electronic health records systems.
- Ability to engage and motivate teams in a mission and results-focused work environment.
- CPR certification (preferred).
