The Six Sigma Black Belt Trainee positions will be in the individual facilities concentrating on the manufacturing processes and customer service related processes (Shipping & Receiving, Quality, and Supply Chain Mgt). Though working very closely with the General Managers and Plant Managers within the facilities: The reporting structure for the Six Sigma positions report to the Six-Sigma Management team at corporate headquarters. Great opportunity to get your Black Belt in Six Sigma!Six Sigma is a Quality Improvement methodology structured to reduce product or service failure rates to a negligible level (roughly 3.4 failures per million opportunities). To achieve six sigma levels, the Six Sigma process encompasses all aspects of a business, including management, service delivery, design, production and customer satisfaction. Six Sigma companies typically spend less than 5 percent of their revenues addressing and repairing quality problems. As a philosophy Six Sigma drives business culture and requires a nearly flawless execution of key processes making Six Sigma a high standard for companies and individuals to achieve.This position includes a 20% performance bonus and profit sharing. There will be some training-related travel, but overall long-term travel is probably about 10%.
