Location: Huron,SD, USA
* Employee will work each skating session between 2-4 hours.
* Employee will be able supervise skaters on the ice and in the warming room.
* Employee will be able to handle small amounts of money.
* Employees will be able to enforce open skating rules.
Qualifications
Work is frequently performed in undesirable physical conditions of pollution, heat, cold, dampness, and a moderate to high noise level; duties involve supervising skaters in all open skating sessions. Must be able to communicate and relate to and work with others. Must be able to be responsible for checking skaters in and out and handling small amounts of money. Work hours will be Wednesday from 6:00-8:00 pm and Sunday from 6:00-9:00 pm along with a holiday schedule in December with various times. May be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
Special Requirements
Graduation from High School or GED Certificate preferred. High School Students may be acceptable in some circumstances. Experience with Park & Recreation seasonal activities, preferred. Ability to work with necessary equipment to complete the tasks successfully.
Miscellaneous Information
Follows all applicable safety procedures, uses proper safety equipment. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present Parks & Recreation information to the public.
