Summary: Drives ambulance to transport sick, injured, or convalescent persons by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
- Places patients on stretcher and loads stretcher into Van, usually with help of Ski Patrol.
- Takes sick or injured persons to hospital, or convalescents to destination, using skill and caution in driving to avoid sudden motions detrimental to patients.
- Reports facts concerning accident or emergency to hospital personnel or law enforcement officials.
- Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations.
- Supports TSG Ski & Golf sustainability initiatives.
- Adheres to TSG Ski & Golf policies and procedures.
- Knowledge of and adheres to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Other Qualifications:
- Must have valid Driver's License and pass insurance screening
- Must have minimum 3 years of driving experience.
- Must be at least be 25 years of age.
- Must be able to function effectively at elevations of 10,000 feet or higher.
- Must be able to function effectively in inclement weather conditions.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime as job requires.
