- In charge of and coordinates movement of technicians and services that form a key profit center for the company.
- Oversees and directs fleet of 15-20 technicians.
- Independently and efficiently selects technicians for particular assignments while considering location of technicians and differences in technician skills, training, licenses and levels of experience as required for job. Must be able to evaluate any special needs for each route or customer.
- Responsible for minimizing technician overtime and promoting meal period compliance
- Balances demands for customer satisfaction against technician efficiency and cost-effectiveness for company.
- write-ups for poor performance and formal praise for superior performance
- Oversees technician absenteeism and tardiness
- Performs duties with an awareness of all McKinley and industry requirements
- Handles daily communications and reports regarding job status and progress by technicians
QualificationsQualifications:
- Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work harmoniously with technicians, other employees, and the public
- Experienced at diffusing tense situations and at ease working with emotional customers, technicians or other challenging circumstances
- Skilled at problem solving and can think critically and independently with minimal guidance
- Responds well under pressure and effectively handles urgent situations with minimal or no supervision
- Able to discern and prioritize levels of urgency and minimize exposure to risk while maximizing customer satisfaction
- Punctual and reliable
- Computer skills and proficiency including Microsoft office and other cloud based products
- Ability to quickly and accurately assess profitability (costs travel, rates, of pay overtime)
- Highly experienced, must have worked at least 4 years in similar like industry
- Knowledge of individual technical, training ,customer requirements, and multi-state and city licensing including safety and background checks for technicians to be qualified to perform particular services
