TITLE: SKILLED CRAFTSMAN PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Maintenance Carpenter: Repairs, builds, alters and finishes structures, equipment, facilities and furniture. 2. Maintenance Painter: Mixes paints and varnishes, prepares surfaces for painting, and applies paint. 3. Maintenance Electrician: Installs repairs and maintains all electrical apparatus of the school division. 4. Maintenance Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning: Replace and repairs defective heating, air conditioning and ventilation components. 5. Maintenance Mason: Repairs, builds, alters and finishes concrete, stone and brick structures. 6. Maintenance Grounds: Care and maintain facilities, grounds and associated equipment to include but not limited to mowing and trimming of lawns, athletic facilities, shrubs etc. 7. Utilize foresight, concentration and mathematical skills. 8. Make recommendations for the ordering and maintaining of supplies and equipment. 9. Instruct, check and supervise Craftsman Assistants as assigned. 10. Maintains records including work orders, requisitions, invoices and other maintenance related documentation. 11. Perform other related task as assigned or required by the Director of Facilities/Operations.12 month contract; Skilled Craftsman Salary Scale as approved by the School Board. Attachment(s):
