This is an exciting opportunity to join a team that values hard work, dedication, and a willingness to tackle challenges.Job Description:As a Skilled Maintenance Employee, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and play an integral role in maintaining the functionality, safety, and appearance of properties. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining commercial and business properties, ensuring optimal functionality and aesthetics.
- Follow and support and safety and compliance best practices in all aspects of their job duties.
- Support the upkeep of residential properties owned by the organization and stakeholders.
- Perform a variety of maintenance tasks, including repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with the Maintenance Manager and other team members.
- Take on new challenges with a positive and adaptable attitude.
- Work overtime as needed to meet operational demands.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven skills in maintenance across various systems (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
- Skills: Strong listening skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
- Work Ethic: Reliable, with excellent attendance and a willingness to go the extra mile.
- Flexibility: Able to handle new challenges and work overtime when required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to perform physical labor, including lifting, climbing, and working in various conditions.
