Details Client NameGood Samaritan Society - Tyndall Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionLPN / LVN SpecialtyCharge/Supervisor/Manager Job ID29585295 Job TitleSkilled Nursing LPN Charge Nurs Weekly Pay$1470.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 06PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date12/16/2024 End Date03/17/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job Description Job Title: Skilled Nursing LPN Charge Nurse Job Specialty: Nursing Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Prior work experience in a similar or related position may be helpful License: Licensure for state of practice is required Certifications: BLS from American Heart Association Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Job Description: - Formulate a plan of care for residents based on individualized resident care plans and physician orders.- Provide nursing care to residents while updating the care plan as needed.- Observe residents and document observations and care provided, utilizing the EMR accurately.- Assure that physicians are notified and orders are processed efficiently.- Communicate and share pertinent information while observing and reporting residents' conditions.- Respond promptly to resident call lights and direct and assist with resident and family/significant other education.- Notify family on condition changes and ensure all related communications are conducted properly.- Handle linens correctly, disposing of soiled linens, clothing, or supplies in compliance with regulations.- Use standard precautions by employing personal protective equipment and respect transmission guidelines.- Wash hands between resident care to maintain hygiene standards.- Report and assure timely follow-up on signs and symptoms of resident infections.- Comply with all related laws, regulations, company policies, and procedures.- Adapt to changes as duties, responsibilities, and activities may evolve at any time. Physical/Mental Requirements: - The employee must be able to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, and position objects, tools, or controls.- Frequently communicate, express oneself, exchange, observe, assess, and detect information relevant to this position.- Required to maintain a stationary position, move, and position oneself in response to job tasks.- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing. Work Environment: - The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.- Frequency of travel may vary based on business need.- Weight Lifting Requirement: 35 lbs.
