Job DescriptionRate of Pay and Benefits:Industrial Truck Mechanics are paid a top hourly base rate of $42.075, plus applicable shift, overtime, and holiday premiums. Must be able to effectively maneuver about vehicles, equipment, assembly lines or stations, and about facility.QualificationsCandidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship, or have 8 years of previous experience, or have a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program in the trade.
- Repair and maintain all powered industrial vehicles in the plant (Yale forklifts, Cushman, and Taylor Dunn carriers and carts)
- Repair and maintain Diesel pumps
- Maintain PMHV batteries, battery chargers
- Repair and maintain the fire pumps in the plant
- Repair and maintain backup generators
- Mechanical background more specifically electrical, diagnosis, parts repair / change on forklifts and burden carriers
- Maintain and repair scissor lifts and boom lifts
- Hydraulic system repair
- Troubleshoot and diagnose error codes
- Repair and maintain automatic guided vehicles (AGVs)
- Ability to interpret and understand schematics
Successful completion of a job interview, pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check are required. Drug panel does not include THC.
