Summary of Position The Integrative Health and Wellness Department at RRCC is seeking a Skills Instructor to support the success and growth of the program on a temporary, as-needed basis. Skills Instructors with satisfactory performance may be offered successive appointments at the discretion of the PD. Instructors will be notified of their future appointment status in advance for the coming course or semester. The appointment of an Instructor may be canceled at any time due to failure to meet requirements and/or unsatisfactory performance.As a Skills Instructor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of responsible Integrative healthcare professionals. Your primary responsibilities include advising, mentoring, and training students to foster the development of essential skills and attitudes necessary for success in the integrative health and wellness coaching field. Evaluating and meticulously documenting students' performance and competence, encompassing NBHWC competencies. Ensuring that students receive continuous, proper supervision from staff members to enhance their learning experience. Collaborating with department instructors to provide skill instruction, record accreditation-required competencies, and manage necessary projects, supplies, and equipment. Contributing to the administrative aspects of the department, including inventory management and other assigned duties.Qualifications Required Qualifications
- Relevant experience in the integrative health and wellness coaching field.
- Proficiency in evaluating and documenting student performance based on established competencies.
- Strong mentoring and advisory skills to guide students in their professional growth.
- Familiarity with NBHWC standards and requirements.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, including inventory management.
- Flexibility to undertake additional duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of an Accredited Integrative Health Program
- Preferred Qualifications: AS or AAS
- Preferred Licenses and Certifications: NBHWC
- Experience: Work experience in the field of Integrative Health and Wellness Coaching
