Ideal candidates will be prepared to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing, scoring, analysis and associated interventions under the general oversight of the department's assigned leader and/or the medical director. They will adhere to AASM guidelines and to departmental policies and procedures when performing job duties. Education Qualifications- Enrollment in an A-Step program is required.In lieu of the A-step program requirement, successful completion of an accredited educational program leading to an associate degree with an emphasis in Polysomnography is required OR; successful completion of a Polysomnography program associated with a state licensed and/or a nationally accredited facility is required.Completion of A-Step program within one year of hire is required.
Experience Qualifications- Experience in sleep lab setting or 1-2 years of equivalent healthcare experience is preferred.Experience using EPIC, Meditech or other healthcare-based data system is preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.A-Step program completion within 1 year of hire is required.Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) and/or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is preferred.
- Meeting the eligibility requirements for certification by the American Board of Sleep Medicine (ABSM) as a Registered Sleep Technologist/Registered Polysomnographic Technologist or equivalent is preferred.

Pay Range:$24.31 - $36.47A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.
